Crispy Beef wasn’t always like we know it today, with the wafer-thin strips of beef in a thick crunchy batter, it was very different and altered in the early half of the 20th century to fit the western palette, along with not having the right ingredients meant it had to change. I though it be cool to visit old/traditional variations of the food we’ve all come to know and love! This recipe was once served in my Grandparents restaurant in the late to mid-40s and 50s. The flavour is really different from the version served here but I hope you try it out.
